A Tomas Roope Production

Brother Tomas Roope has recently added some brilliant features to "Robert Recommends" the Ai element on Black Eyewear (my dad's eyewear brand) that helps you find the right frames for you from his extensive range of designs. Tomas got my dad to train the system from around 4000 synthesised faces so that all the patterns between faces and frames cold be reliably predicted by the system. After 50 years fitting frames to customers, my dad can make those matches in a millisecond. This a way to scale that sensibility across digital channels.

Upload photo.. then the recommended designs are presented (with a match confidence rating in %). When you find a frame you like you can "generate try on image" which then extracts your dodgy selfie and recasts you in a softly lit studio with the frames in place on your face. Nice right?
