Over the past couple of years, checking in with my network, I kept noticing something. The most interesting conversations I was having were with people who’d stepped back from big organisations and were back in the making mode. Back on the front line. Back in the thick of it.
And somehow more potent than ever.
Free from organisational inertia, and armed with tools that meant they no longer needed to build team pyramids to scale their work. They’d found a new gear. Decades of experience under their belts, decades ahead of them, but somehow tipped out of the establishment and into the foothills of something new.
I realised I’d spoken to so many people who fit this picture that I should bring it together. So I have. A network of senior independent operators covering everything from AI-native builds and automation to brand design, data science, app development, creative production and more. People I know and trust.
The model is simple. I find the opportunity, shape the brief, pull together the right combination of people and get out of the way.
